Jaundice in 16 days old male baby
My baby of 16 days has jaundice. Following are the readings; Bilirubin Total Hmg/dL: 13.76 Bilirubin Conjugated Hmg/dL : 0.81 Bilirubin Unconjugated Hmg/dL : 12.95 Doctor has not asked for phototherapy yet. Have asked to followup after 2 weeks. No medicine is prescribed so far. Attaching test reports for reference.

May be the feeding is not enough. Child should gain weight of around 150 to 210 gm in each week. If weight gain is not sufficient then dehydration causes jaundice. Jaundice is common till 3rd week but not that high as it is at 16th day of life. Can consider G6PD test, thyroid profile and DCT
