Hi, I have observed my urine in yellow color and visited doctor, after all tests done doctor told light jaundice there and given URSETOR SR 450 tablets for 5 days. And I forgot to ask what is the percentage of jaundice and all. Can you please help me what is the percentage from the attached report. And also can you please tell me the which food I have to take and after 5 days again do I need to go to blood tests again? How to know jaundice reduced completely? Kindly please help me in the above... Thanks

HELLO, IT IS MILD TO MODERATE. BLEND DIET MEAL YOU CAN TAKE OVER COOKED RICE, MESSED CHAPATI DAL CURDETC BUT WITHOUT. TADKA. GLUCOSE 100gm PER DAY IS MOST  EFFECTIVE. BANGALI SWEET YOU CAN CONSUME.. SALT IN MINIMUM AMOUNT IT GIVES YOU ITCHING. AFTER SEVEN DAYS REPEAT TEST. BILIRUBIN LEVEL WILL BE DECREASE MEANS  JAUNDICE IS DECREASES. DIET SHOULD BE RESUMED VERY SLOWLY. IN ABOUT 45DAYS OR SO. Hello there. I can understand your concern. Jaundice cannot be expressed in percentage. Therefore I don't know what exactly you want to know. Jaundice is present but it's just 0.8 above the normal. I'm not sure if it will come in normal limit in 5 days or not. We will have to wait and see for that. Get the LFT done again after 10 days. Best regards. Dr. Anil Kumar Jain. Bangalore.
