Dear Practo User, kindly visit a periodontist to get your gums checked.. Itchy and bleeding gums are due to plaque and tartar deposits. Applying ice pack will do no good. Instead go to a nearby dentist and get proper treatment done
You should consult with dentist for proper clinical examination and diagnosis. For itching and bleeding gums, you need teeth cleaning and gum paint application.
It is a sign of some deposits esp calculus or in layman terms tartar in the gums. What you need is get a thorough dental check up done followed by scaling & polishing. Meanwhile you can also do Luke warm salt water gargles.
Hope this helps
Itchy gums could be due to deposits in the gum. Plaque and calculus can cause gum infection and cause gum bleeding, and itchy gums. Please go for a professional clean up.

Namaste boss. This is very simple basic procedure in dentistry. Please get a checkup. Scaling is actually a very important procedure, which should be done regurlarly. Do not postpone things, gum bleeding is something which will happen if you have never got scaling in past.
