Is Sylate 500mg safe during pregnancy?
I had internal bleeding in the 5th week of pregnancy and after the scan, doctor suggested me to take Sylate 500mg tablet, Ovipure injuction along with progesterone and folic acid tablets. After a week when i went for a scan, internal bleeding was still there and the the baby was clumsy and there was abnormal development. So the doctor asked me to misscarry the pregnancy. What could be the reason of miscarriage?

Hi. Sylate 500 is meant to stop bleeding and is safe in pregnancy. Your doctor provided you best possible treatment. It's unfortunate that pregnancy could not be saved. 15% pregnancies miscarry in first 3 months in absence of any problem. So don't be disheartened. Follow your doctor's advice
