If you are in night shift, small banana which is not very sour in taste, you can take, but better have good dinner.
Not only banana , whatever it will be, digestion will be less at night.

Have dinner on time and sleep within 3-4hrs of dinner then you should have no need for late night food intake. If there are unavoidable circumstances which need you to be awake at night, if you eat banana regularly for many days it can increase kapha and cause diseases like fatty liver, allergies,allergic rhinitis etc, if you do not eat banana, instead you eat light to digest foods like dhan ka lava, rajgira ladu, handful of kishmish,raisins, warm milk with ginger powder you will sleep better and avoid symptoms like acid reflux, indigestion, weakness due to abnormal sleep pattern.
