Is it ethical 4 doctors?

Nowadays, people are becoming hypochondriac and companies like Practo and doctors associated with it are making their health worse by taking advantage of it! People are reading a lot on Internet and becoming more negative. Is it ethical for doctors to encourage something which adversely affects the mental and ultimately psychical health of human beings?

Your query is a bit offending and shameful to all doctors who are in this system. If a person gets demotivated or negative after learning a lot in internet, than a person himself is accountable for his weak mentality. If learning alot confuses people, than learning isnot good according to you. But truth is learning a lesson only spreads awareness in a community. Every good person wishes his brothers and sisters and countrymen should learn and become aware about goods and bads of any diseases and its prevention. As a doctor, ethics are our first priority. Dctors are not accountable when a person takes negativity from discussing here about any disease. We donot beg anyone to approach here with us. We give free service here and make a good interaction with patients or patient party. You are not aware of our ethics and code of conduct of practise in community. Let me explain it to you about our ethics as mentioned in our registration certificates, doctors should spread relevant information about any disease to patient, colleagues and public by any means. So, even if a patient is in discussion with us, than he is accountable for whatever he gets from here. Hope you got something inside your dull brain from this discussion. Stop being concerned about doctors duties. Think right and do the right.

Hello there. . I can understand your concern. Nowadays everyone wants free services and people spend so much time reading about what they might be suffering from as a part of self diagnosis but no one realises that the articles they are reading may not have any credibility and could have been written by quacks. Atleast on practo, all the doctors are certified and what advise they give is genuine. The doctors here give advise based on their knowledge and experience. And why are you worried when people are getting some basic advise and guidance for free? Im sure you have not read any questions posted and the solutions we give. Best regards. Dr. Anil kumar jain.
