Intafol D instead of Folic Acid
Hi, I am 25 weeks pregnant with twins conceived via IVF. My IVF doctor told me to take Intafol D instead of Folvite tablet. I am worried that I have been taking Intafol D (L Methylfolate - 1 mg) for past 5 months instead of Folvite. Will I have a deficiency of Folic acid? Is Intafol D enough to replace Folic Acid. I am also taking Orefer XT which has Folic acid. Also wanted to inform that before starting the IVF I was taking Folvite daily for nearly 1 year. Please tell me if Intafol D is sufficient to provide folic acid for the babies.
