Injury on Pelvic bone
Hi, My mother met an accident around 1.5 week ago and due to the same she got an hairline fracture in her pelvic bone, She is able to walk slowly but not for too long. We visited a doctor on the day of the accident and after looking at the X-Ray report she suggested that my mother should take proper bed rest for atleast 5 days. Till now she has not shown any major sign of improvement as she immense pain when she tries to change her position while sleep on lying on the bed. Also, she is not able to stand or sit on chair for too long. Please suggest what action do we need to take in order to ensure that her injury are healed on time

Hello Sir/Madam, Fractures to the pelvic bone takes some time to heal as putting a cast is also not possible over there. The key for fast recovery is absolute rest to the area. The more she lies down on the bed in one position, the sooner she will recover. Even in the bed it will be better that she doesn't make much movements.
