Infection in tooth
I have got infection in my tooth and having severe toothache since last night. Have taken painkillers but nothing working. My face is swollen now. Please help.

Hello sir, you should do warm saline gargles as a home remedy n visit your dentist as soon as possible . One IOPA radiograph should be taken n accordingly go for treatment n medicines

hello,
you can do warm salt water rinses as a home remedy. But this will give you only temporary relief from pain. you need to visit a dentist and get an x-ray done. if there is an infection, you need to get it treated. the dentist will give you some antibiotics and painkillers for the swelling and pain.

Hello,
you need to visit an Endodontist.Visit ASAP as you already seem to have a space infection.Only painkillers wont help,you need to start with good antibiotics as well.

hi, Please visit a dentist as soon as possible as only taking painkillers wont help at all.Dentist will prescribe a higher antibiotic which will help in pain reduction & also get the treatment done as recommended by your dentist (either root canal treatment or tooth removal which will be decided after clinical examination & xray )

I recommend u to visit a dentist as soon as possible .A swollen face accompanied by tooth pain indicates severe infection that has spread .They swelling may be due to pus collection .So don't delay further ..dentist may take an X-ray to confirm the diagnosis ..u may have to undergo RCT ..which may require 3 or more sittings ...all the best .

Hi.... I think you need to consider antibiotics... Brush your teeth after you eat. Keep a toothbrush at work to use after eating. Brush using a fluoride-containing toothpaste at least twice a day, especially after meals. ..... Schedule regular dental checkups. See your dentist on a regular basis — generally once or twice a year — to have your teeth or dentures examined and cleaned.....
