Infection in throat, ear, pain in ear
I have been suffering a mild infection in my throat and ear for last one week and was having a slight tingling feeling in my ears, for which I had not taken any medication. Yesterday, why bathing some water went inside my right ear and after that at night while sleeping I had a pain inside the right ear and now I cannot hear properly in my right ear. Also while touching the portion just behind my right ear where my jaw bones meet the upper portion of my neck there is slight pain. I am not having any symptoms like dry cough or runny nose, although during the night I had little mucus build up at my throat. Kindly suggest necessary steps to recover.

You have two different scenario ....one is your ear infection due to water entry into the ears would have caused otitis externa or otomycosis .....the second is tingling or discomfort in your ears due to nasal block or cold which closes the eustachian tube connecting nose to the ears ... for nasal block relief do steam in halation twice a day and for ear infection you need medication
Next Steps
Take ENT online consultation for further evaluation
