I understand your concern. As we don't know what is your weight, so unable to suggest how much you need to shed as per your age n height. Since you know the formula of calculating BMI from Dr. Jain, you can do it yourself, but the latest cut out range for Indians are between 18.5-23,if it's more than that, you need to be careful enough.
Take lots of fluids, small gaps between meals, cut down on sweets n carbs, increase fruits n Salad n veggies intake. Do little exercise for at least 4days a week. Consult with a dietician for a complete detailed chart for your well being.

You can calculate your BMI ausing the formula i.e., weight in kgs divided by square of height in meters.
If yiur bmi comes between 18.5-25 its normal.
Yes green tea does help in losing weight.
Strict diet and exercise are other methods.
