Serial ransaxial scans were pertormed starting from the base of the skull in the infratentorial and supratentorial compartment.
OBSERVATIONS:
Small hypodense focus noted in right ganglio-capsular region, likely prominent VR space.
Rest of the brain parenchyma depicts normal attenuation values
Cortical sulci and cistermal spaces are normal. Supratentorial ventricular system is normal in
morphology;
No focal lesions identified. No bleed or shift of midline structures seen.
Pons, midbrain and medulla are normal. 4th ventricle is normal in shape, size and
morphology.
No obvious calvarial fracture. Skul base region appears normal.
Paranasal siruses appear normal, Nasal septum deviated towards the right side.Bilateral mastoids appear normal.
IMPRESSION:
Small hypodense focus in right ganglio-capsular region, likely prominent VR space.No obvious focal brain parenchymal abnormality deteeted.
