I My Blood pressure readings are 158/107
I am 30 years old, and my BP readings today are 158/107, i weigh 90 Kgs and 5 Feet 11 inches height, i have been smoking 10 cigarettes per day, and past 4 days had 2 Bottle of beer every day. I tested on an electronic BP Machine at home. Am i doing right or should i wait for few days and check again, if its right, then please suggest what i should do?

Hello. For your age, your BP is higher than normal. You are also overweight. This along with smoking & beer contributes to high bp. BP measurements via electronic machine is not fully reliable. Check your BP by someone trained manually, using manual BP machine. If it is still high, then do the following tests - CBC, urea, creatinine, LFT, Lipid profile and review with me in Practo direct. You'll need anti-hypertensive medications. Hope this helps.

Cut off on smoking & alcohols. Daily exercises will help.
