As you can understand your anxiety cannot be treated with medicines alone. You need some medications and some kind of psychotherapy.  The cause of this anxiety can have its roots in the past too. In that case Emdr will be helpful. A detailed history will be required.

Social anxiety disorder, also called social phobia, is an anxiety disorder in which a person has an excessive and unreasonable fear of social situations. Anxiety (intense nervousness) and self-consciousness arise from a fear of being closely watched, judged, and criticized by others. Symptoms include: Tremors, feeling anxious or nervous, sense of panic, sweating, increased heartbeat, feeling of impending doom, stomach discomfort, dizziness etc  These can be debilitating. If the anxiety us overwhelming, consult a psychiatrist at the earliest. With the right medication and counseling, it is likely your symptoms will improve. Other than that, try yoga, deep breathing, meditation, moderate exercise, progressive muscular relaxation and guided meditation.
