Plantar fasciitis is caused by inflammation of soft tissue towards the base of heel.. It may happen mostly due to increased pressure over the limb while standing on hard surface..
Next Steps
You can start with hot fomentation of heel, use soft sole footwear like Doctor's sole or Silicon Heel Cushion throughout the day, take analgesic with anti inflammatory medicine,  apply analgesic ointment locally..
Health Tips
You can start with ankle movement exercises specially before standing..
