Hi.. Wisdom teeth don't help much in chewing. Since they are last teeth to come in mouth, they often struggle to align themselves resulting in cavity and gum pain. Permanent solution is removal to save next tooth from spreading infection. Regards

visit an oral surgeon for a proper treatment plan because x-ray and clinical examination both are necessary for making a treatment plan.

Visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon as soon as possible.  One month is quite a long time. A clinical examination and X ray will reveal what is the actual cause of your problem.  And mostly your wisdom tooth might have to be removed.

Pain in any tooth that is aggravated during chewing usually indicates somewhat progressive infection around that tooth. With wisdom teeth, it is usually best to see a dentist or an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for an evaluation. The best option for managing such symptomatic wisdom teeth is usually to get them extracted.
