I cant swallow any Tablet - Montair Lc
Hello Doctor, I have been prescribed Montair Lc one tablet daily due to my alergic rhinitis and asthma. I am unable to swallow even small tablets, i have fear of choking. Eveytime i take i am uncomfortable and in fear for 1-2 hours that it is stuck in my throat. Few months ago it has happened that tablet stuck in wind pipe, since then my fear is aggravated. Normally i take montair lc and sometimes crocin pain relief for headaches. My question is can i take these by crushing or mixing with water. Ashutosh.

Thanks for sharing your concern and query. Firstly I can say these medicines are available in liquid formulation also. But I would like to say that it is not the solution and we have to evaluate whether it is the panic or stress is ongoing or else you have got really an organic issue (neurological or local laryngopharyngeal issue) for thinking this. So finally I would suggest you to please consult any ENT specialist of your choice by online video consultation or in clinic consultation as per your convenience and get the diagnosis done for getting relief.Thanking you.
Next Steps
online consultation or inclinic consultation
