Tmj clicking can occur due to many reasons.Apply hot water pack to the muscles in front of your ears. Avoid hard foods.Avoid opening your mouth too wide. See your dentist. They will examine you to diagnose the reason for clicking. Youl be given muscle relaxing medicines and a soft splint to help your jaws. If you are stressed kindly distress. Check if you are clenching or grinding your teeth at night. Tmj problems can worsen over time and treatment gets more difficult and expensive.  The earlier you go, the better.

Popping sound comes from your jaw joint (Temporo Mandibular Joint)  . Have to find the reason for your jaw problem. Might be due to tooth or any other cause. As of now take Myospaz twice daily for two weeks. But have to treat the cause of your jaw issue. Avoid opening your mouth widely as in yawning or any other circumstances.
Next Steps
Go to a dentist and find out the cause for your problem

Your problem seems to be in Temporomandibular joint. It's a joint useful in opening and closing of your mouth. There are many causes for your problem. This joint problem may be due teeth grinding habit during night time or any previous injury also. Avoid excess opening of your mouth like yawning widely.
Next Steps
Visit your nearby dentist as soon as possible to treat in early stage.
