Hypothyroidism
My son is 3 years 6 months old and weighs 23 kgs n height 1O3 cms To his blood test we find T4 as 1.O5 and TSH as 6.96 are those results are abnormal if yes is there a permanent cure and any side effects please advise

Its the right time to start with thyrixine but better have consultation with pediatrician or endocrinologist

Needs thyroxine supplementation. Consult endocrinologist if not available a pediatrician atleast.

TSH of 6.96 is slightly higher than normal.. his weight is more than expected.. he definitely needs a endocrinologist consultation...
