Hyperpigmentation
Hello doctor, Can you tell me the difference between epidermal hyperpigmentation and dermal hyperpigmentation? How can I spot the difference between the two? Are there treatments available to complete fade stubborn dermal hyperpigmentation? ...NOTE: I refers to PIH, and its deepness under the skin while asking the query?

Hi , there r various treatment options for u , lasers, chemical peels , depigmentation creams etc . First the spots need to be examined , whether they are acne marks . Or due to photo damage of the skin or melasma . If u refer to PIH , did u ever undergo and sort of medical treatment earlier , and only then the proper treatment can be prescribed. The medical aesthetic industry is so phenomenal that there can be complete transformation now a days . So marks are not a major problem . Visit a skin specialist for ur diagnosis and treatment. Tx
