RCT -In this procedure, the infected pulp is removed and the inside of the tooth is carefully cleaned and disinfected, then filled and sealed with a rubber-like material called gutta-percha. Afterwards, the tooth is restored with a crown or filling for protection.
Cost of RCT with A crown can vary from (4000- 15,000) depending upon the quality of crowns- Full Metal Crown, Metal Ceramic Crown, All Ceramic Crowns and the time - Generally, single appointment RCT will cost more than 2-3 appointment RCT.
RCT is painless now a days, but yes not pain free.It depends upon the fear perception of the patients and how infected the tooth is?-which can be ascertained by X-ray and antibiotics taken beforehand will help reduce the pain.
Next Steps
X-ray is needed before the treatment to see the extent of damage, as well as antibiotics are to be taken prior the appointment for RCT is made.(Visit a dentist for all the Dental issues)
