My wife has had hives on her body 3 times in the past 3-4 days. They came and disappeared. I visited a doctor today. She asked me if we had any recent blood reports done. I have shared a report from June 2025. She highlighted one thing which my family doctor didn't highlight. Her Hb1ac value is 6.0 (Pre Diabetic), Fasting Sugar (77) and Microalbumin value is 37. She said your family doctor didn't suggest anything for pre diabetic and more than normal Microalbumin value. She gave us Allegra M and Bandy Plus and asked for a blood test.
Is there anything to worry about?

Hello.
I understand your concern.
The hives your wife had in the last few days are usually due to allergy or sensitivity. They often come and go on their own, and medicines like Allegra M help control the itching. Please watch out for any severe symptoms such as swelling of the lips, tongue, or throat, or any breathing difficulty – if that happens, seek emergency care immediately.
Her HbA1c (6.0%) falls in the pre-diabetes range. This means she is not diabetic right now, but it’s a warning sign. With healthy eating, regular exercise, and weight control, she can prevent diabetes from developing.
Her fasting sugar is normal and her Microalbumin (37) is a little above normal. This test relates to kidney health. A single mild rise is not serious, but it should be re-checked along with kidney function tests.
The doctor’s advice to get repeat blood tests is correct. For now, there’s nothing serious to worry about, but it’s important to follow up, take the medicines as prescribed, and work on lifestyle changes.
