I increased my dose one tab in morning and half in the evening. Still not a positive result. Today my doc recommended that i should increase amlodipine 2.5 in the evening to control my systolic blood pressure. From today i incresased a dose of amlodipine. Kindly recommend what should i take.

Follow your doctors advice and meet him regularly to check pressures. 146 is not too high  if you are 74. Do a Renal function test and serum electrolytes and show it to your doctor
