High Blood Pressure
Hi! I had a high blood pressure of 160/101 a week before. Now it's in 140/98 due to Telma 40 but now one of the cardiologist suggested me to take Prolomet XL 25 in morning and evening. Is it safe to use this medicines on a regular basis? My age is 26 and I am a male.

You are very young to have essential hypertension.  Telma 40 though a potent drug has not helped you much. May help to add prolomet. You need investigations  (ultrasound abdomen/ renal Doppler  , VMA levels etc) in consultation with your doctor. In the meantime try to destress. Modification of lifestyle -exercise - good  food - stop smoking/ alcohol etc may help
