High bilirubin level
My 15 yrs old son got jaundice one month ago with SGPt 546 and bilirubin 7.0 after one week his SGPt dropped by 252 but bilirubin raised by 15.90..After rest N medications it is now SGPt 59 and bilirubin 10.0.. Doctors are saying it's. A slow process of coming down bilirubin. He is still taking hepamerz and actibile tablet ,what should I do .

Hi, This is usually seen in viral hepatitis, bilirubin may increase then gradually decrease during recovery. General advice would be to give carbohydrate rich diet, rest and may continue the medication as adviced by your doctor.
