Hi, please note that Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) is a recurrent problem and a problem with long, chronic course. This problem often causes pain, swelling, discharge of the underarms and even scarring. You'll need to be under regular follow up and treatment of a qualified dermatologist near you. Antibiotics / antiinflammatory biologics / retinoids are the possible lines of treatment options for your problem. Improvement takes time indeed. Warm regards, Dr Govind S Mittal, Therapeia Skin Hair and ENT centre, Bengaluru.
