Hepatitis B
Hello doctor. One of my friend is diagnosed with hepatitis B virus. Many a times he has high fever for 10 to 15 days and pain in liver side. He has a bad condition. Kindly suggest the treatment.

Hi, its not that easy, tell me the age, what is liver function test, OT/PT, what is HBV DNA Level, HbeAg status. All these are required to determine whether treatment is required or not, and if yes then at what duration and efficacy. Hepatitis B positivity is very very common, 5-10 % population of India has positive status, but everyone do not requires treatment.
