No need to worry at all 👍 These values can mean an old, cleared infection (not active). With normal LFT and only grade 1 fatty liver, your mom is safe right now. Book a quick consultation with me I’ll explain the full report clearly and give you the exact monitoring plan. 😊

Your mother’s reports are overall reassuring. HBsAg negative means there is no evidence of active Hepatitis B infection currently. A positive/low titre Hepatitis B core antibody can sometimes indicate past exposure or resolved infection, and if liver function tests are normal there is usually no immediate danger. Grade 1 fatty liver is very common and is more commonly related to weight, diet, diabetes, cholesterol, or lifestyle factors rather than Hepatitis B. However, since there is a family history of liver disease, it would be better to evaluate the complete Hepatitis B profile including Anti-HBs, total Anti-HBc/IgM, and if needed HBV DNA after proper clinical history. Please do not panic. Most such cases turn out to be stable and manageable. For better understanding of the reports, detailed history, and proper guidance regarding treatment/follow-up, you can consult me directly with all reports.
Next Steps
* Repeat/complete Hepatitis B profile (Anti-HBs, Anti-HBc total/IgM if not done) * Continue regular LFT monitoring and ultrasound follow-up * Maintain healthy diet, exercise, weight control, avoid alcohol/oily food * Consult a physician/hepatologist with complete reports for detailed interpretation
Health Tips
Do not get anxious based on a single antibody value alone. Normal liver function tests and HBsAg negativity are good signs. Fatty liver at Grade 1 is reversible in many patients with lifestyle modification and timely follow-up.
