Height weight ratio
Hi, I am a 30 year old male, my height is 5'10" and I weight 81 kg. As per BMi calculation I am over weight and I should at least weigh 77 to be in the normal range. Now the question is, is this BMI range standard for everyone? Are there people who would be exception to this? I ask this because even when I weigh 81 kgs I look slim and last year when I reduced to 77 I looked very weak. This feedback is from friends and in knows. Everyone said that I looked very weak and I need to put on a little weight. Is there something wrong with my body? I have a broad frame. I remember in 10 standard I weighted 68 kgs and I was one of the leanest in the class, the physically over weight looking guys actually weighted less than me. Please suggest

Hello dear, First for all, for Indian population BMi does not work. Secondly, according to your height your weight should be in between 77-81. Some people weighs more because of bone weight. So, you are perfectly fine.

Hi Healthy BMI range is 18 to 23 for Asians. The ideal body weight bracket depends on the body frame so that's why we take plus minus 5 kg of the ideal body weight. I cannot say what weight would be fine for you until I see you. If you wanna discuss anything further you can opt for a personal chat option
