Heel pain, in this age group is due to 2 very common conditions. Plantar fascitis If it's exactly on the under surface of the sole or Retrocalcaneal bursitis if it's behind the ankle. For both these conditions, gentle heel stretching exercises are advised. It may take a while to see come significant difference. Heel stretching can be done using a thin towel under the toes and gentle pulling with the knees fully extended. Apply hot fomentation before the stretching and ice after. Hot is to relax the muscles and cold is to prevent inflammation.
Next Steps
Take a Dolo650 on SOS basis depending on the pain.
Continue the stretching exercise for atleast 3-4 weeks to see some difference.
Health Tips
ball rolling under the sole and stuff dont really work. You need to stretch your calf muscles.
