Heel pain for past 3 months
Heel pain. Today consult a doctor she said my bone is swollen near heel and she suggested injection and surgery for pain relief. Can someone help. Will that be any risk in future

There's bone overgrowth near heel region it's called calcaneal spur. It's a very common condition. Are you diabetic???

For now take analgesics for 5 days and use  orthopedic slippers i.e MCR slippers both in and out of the house. If pain doesn't subside or not able to bear the pain you can go for injections, surgery is a last option only for people who have unbearable pain. If any doubt contact me online
