Heart rate
My wife always has a heart rate/pulse of over 110. During pregnancy her heart rate had gone up to 140. Her BP is normal. A pulmonologist had suggested rota haler inhaler. She took that for a while and stopped. The problem has returned, whom do I consult, a pulmonologist or a cardiologist.

If fast heart rate is the main concern, meet a cardiologist. He would do an ECG, and may be an Echo. If both are normal then you may take a sigh of relief. Also, please know that Oxetol causing fast heart rate, though rare, is well reported. In addition some medicines given through rota haler can fasten heart rate. Instead, if breathing problem and asthma is the main concern, then meet a pulmonologist.
