Heart beat 138
Hello doctor
My mother is facing fast heart beat issue since 2-3 months and her heart beat remains near to 120. Today it was 138. She feels very uncomfortable. Also she feels shivering in the body all the time. What can be the possible issue? She got operated one year ago and her uterus was removed. No other medical issues.

Heart rate is very high and it can be due to various reasons..Just get done one ECG and send it to me then i will guide you further. For time being you can give her tb.petril beta 20mg once daily.
Next Steps
Ask her to take plenty of fluids so as to avoid dehydration

Hello,
This heart rate is very high. Causes can be anything like anemia, dehydration , fever, heart arrhythmias, medicine related etc. Hence, I need further details to determine cause of such high heart rate. Also if she is feeling uncomfortable it is better you take her to a hospital and get her ECG and other investigations done.
