Good evening, since you are someone who spends a lot of time on digital screens, I would like to suggest you few tips to prevent you from Computer Vision Syndrome as headache , ocular pain, grittiness, dryness, blurring all are features of CVS. Kindly follow the following instructions:- 1. Avoid unnecessary use of digital screens 2. Use the 20-20-20 rule. Every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break and focus your eyes on something at least 20 feet away.( eg a wall clock ) 3. Use anti glare glasses and anti glare sheet on your screen 4. Blink frequently - our blinking is reduced when we are concentrating at the screen 5. Make sure your posture is correct when you are using computer/ laptops to prevent neck and back ache. 6. Do not use digital screens in dark.
Next Steps
Use tear eye drop like Normo Tears eye drop 4 times/ day in both eyes. Tab paracetamol 500 mg for your headache on sos basis. You can repeat after 6 hours.
Health Tips
If your headache doesn’t improve even after following the above, visit an ophthalmologist near you and get your refraction done.
