HCG levels
I had a positive result from UPT yesterday (Day 37 from LMP) . Blood test for HCG shows HCG levels of 12000. Is this very high?. Does this mean any complication. I am worried. Please suggest.

By 6 weeks HCG levels may vary from 1080-56500 MIU/ML. High level of HCG in early pregnancy may be due to multiple pregnancy (twins) or molar pregnancy and others. Need to ask some more history to guide you properly.

Consult me on practo for further assistance

It is a little on higher side, you should go for a transvaginal ultrasound.
