Hand foot mouth disease for 11 month old
After 1.5 days of high fever(102.8) and sore throat,my son started having multiple rashes in his legs,butt and hands. Little bit of blister is visible inside mouth and he is unable swallow or eat foods.
Our regular pediatrician is unavailable so another doctor diagnosed and told us this is Hand Foot Mouth disease.
Today is 3rd day since the fever started. The rashes are still coming up but the fever has not come back. He is coughing very much.
How to know if this is chickenpox or HFMD ? How long does it take for the baby to get cured ? (Atarix is given )
