Agree with our doctor. And please do not experiment with fancy shampoos etc. Good Nutrition,  hydration and relaxation exercise would do good. Be patient. Good luck.

The type of hair loss that you have is called Telogen effluvium.  During any major illness the hair are pushed into a premature resting phase. Once the illness is over the new hair start growing pushing the old resting ones out. This is called Telogen effluvium. It may sometimes be seen as major hair fall with full length hair falling out. Though it appears scary it is not much to worry about. You need to maintain a good diet and be nutritionally up to the mark so that the new hair are strong and healthy.  Maintain good diet. Oil your hair regularly. Pamper them as you would take care of a small baby. Eat adequate amount of protein. Your hair is made up mainly of proteins. Include skimmed milk, cottage cheese, lentils in diet. Vitamin C, Zinc and Vitamin B are other important nutrients for great hair health. So include lot of fresh fruits, vegetables and whole grains in your daily diet.
Next Steps
You can use a shampoo like Hair4U shampoo and Hair 4 U  conditioner.
