Hair loss with sebum beads scalp

Asked for Female, 26 Years

Started in 2013 with hair loss dandruff. have seen many best dermatologists of Delhi.was given antibiotics tretnoin shampoo.but have continuous severe hair fall with hair roots attached with sebum beads.also on back ,shoulders.now no scabs like dandruff.scalp gets very dry on washing.next day after paining and burning becomes oily smelly.have low vit d and ferritin.took its medicine.periods scanty compared to earlier.tsh and prolactin normal.no pcos.poor digestion.feel fatigue in physical tasks.

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, hypothyroidism, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin.
