Hair loss problem
Hi
I am having hair loss since 3 - 5 months. I have consulted a dermatologist in India and later moved to Canada.
The dermatologist priscribed tricosilk max solution and folifast tincture along with biotin 5000mcg for 6 months. I am taking the medication regularly now for 4 months but still I see hair loss .when i comb I am losing 10 - 15 hairs each time. I am seeing my hairs is becoming thin.
Please help with what to do next?

There are many reasons for hair fall. So first and foremost we have to find the cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the common causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia or patterned baldness, telogen effluvium etc. Unless we find and treat the cause there is no point in giving non specific treatment. Oils or shampoos do not have any effect on hair growth as they are not absorbed in the skin. Please send photographs using online consult option for proper diagnosis and detailed prescription,
