Hair loss prob

I start losing hair when I was 15, was under a lot if stress, now I am stress free but I keep on losing hair, my hair is of slow- growing type, very dry and curly at bottom, I also have dandruff too, tried a variety of shampoo eventually ended up in losing more hair than usual, now I am back to shikkakai, does folic acid and biotin tablets are any good if taken routinely, if yes what dose should I take?

Hi. Greetings. In women, Anaemia, hormonal issues, environmental factors , pollution, stress, junk food and poor diet could cause you to lose hair. After adequate evaluation by dermatologist, You'll probably need treatment with hair care lotions or serums - something that has vasodilator properties and improves thickness of hair and reduces hair loss. Have a good balanced nutritious diet. For dandruff you'll need an antifungal shampoo with probably a low dose corticosteroid shampoo. Nutritional supplements should be taken by prescription for specified duration. See a dermatologist near you to get evaluated if you have any other scalp problem. Hope this helps. Further queries may be sent on follow up  messaging. Warm regards.
