I am 20 years old. I have receding hairline and thinning crown. My dermatologist wants me to stop Finasteride 1mg after 6 months of use. But US FDA states that Propecia(Finasteride) needs to be taken for atleast a few years to retain hair. How to get prescription for Finasteride? I have completed 2 out of 3 PRP sessions. I don't have any side effects from Finasteride and I am not happy to stop it. How to convince my doctor?
