You are alopecia areata. this is an autoimmune condition due to the attack of lymphocytes against hair roots. It results in the formation of bald patches on the scalp. It can affect any hairy area of the body also like eyebrows and  beard. It has to be treated properly for long duration until the immunity comes down. Once the immunity is controlled, hair grows back over the patches. Please call me or contact me using online consult option for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Greetings,There are many reasons for hair fall. So we do have to find the exact cause with the help of detailed history and examination. Some of the causes are nutritional deficiency, hormonal causes like androgenic alopecia /patterned baldness, telogen effluvium etc. There is no point in giving non specific treatment without finding the exact cause.Kindly share few clear pics of affected area and you may can consult me through online or via Clinic. Thank you Dr Shuhaib MP(Pune)
