Gum inflammation
Attached pics of my gum inflammation. I don't have any pain so far. But thought of cleaning & doctor suggested deep cleaning & laser curettage. Is it really required for my age 65 yrs.

Yes go for deep subgingival scaling,root planing and curettage as suggested by your dentist. Brush twice daily. Rinse after every meal. Do warm saline rinses 4 times a day for 2 weeks. Massage your gums post brushing.

Go to subgingival scaling and deep laser curettage.Also it is advised for gingival gum massage for 2 weeks (3-4 times a day to maintain a healthy gingival health.

You will definitely require scaling .. laser curettage can be suggested post an X-ray ( also looks like you may need ) as Gums look weak. If diabetic control is poor or if you’re borderline diabetic already it’s better to go ahead with the procedure to prevent tooth loss and enhance gum health further
