Groin discoloration (Male, age 24)
I have significantly dark patches of skin in my groin area. The skin is reddish brown and is located on either sides of the groin and there is no itching. The skin however is dry. It hasn't caused any problems until now but it doesn't look normal. (I am not overweight but I do consume about 35-50gm of sugar everyday)

This description sounds like acanthosis nigricans. This is a condition where your skin folds like underarms, inner thighs or groin, neck and face becomes dark. It is either genetic or due to sedantry lifestyle and overweight. This can be treated. Please call me or contact me with photos using online consult option for proper diagnosis, treatment advice and prescription. ,,,
