Grade 3 meniscus tear.
Is there any chance of MRI being false? It said grade 3 anterior horn meniscus tear. But my knee never swelled up. I returned to normal activity in 15 days. Started running in 4 months. But it pinches sometimes. Whenever i consult a doctor he says to have surgery? Its not that i cant afford surgery. I have a mediclaim. TPAs are ready to pass my case. But i dont want it. Will it effect my sports?

Pinches where? If there’s a click and occasional locking of the knee then it requires Arthroscopic repair or partial menisectomy. In arthroscopic surgeries the surgical morbidity is much less and the patient is up and about usually in 24 to 48 hrs. If there are no symptoms then good physiotherapy will help Trust your doctor and do as suggested. Don’t wait for it to get worse
