My Bro Was Diagnosed With GBS.He Was On Ventilator Support For Around 2.5 Months..Now 7 Months Have Passed Still He Is On Bed...Recovery Is Going On But Quite Slow..2 Times He Was Given IVIG Dose.. Hello... Gullian barre syndrome is an autoimmune disease affecting the peripheral nervous system.its not related to diet or antibiotics... Completely damaged nerves takes months even years to recover. ..respiratory paralysis is the most commonly complication leads to death... In most of the cases damage is not completely reversible.
