Ganglion cyst and surgery
My brother had a ganglion cyst(painless) on his right upper wrist and got it removed by a surgery. But doctor said the reoccurrence rate is high. My doubts are 1. What are the possibilities of reoccurrence 2. What should we do if it comes back(again surgery???) and what are the measures should we take to avoid reoccurrence 3. After how many days, he will be able to use his hand regularly like writing, typing etc Thanks in advance

Recurrence rate is very low if the ganglion is excised completely. If it recurs surgery is the only option. He should be able to do his normal activities once his sutures are removed.
