Hi,
My friend has gallstones issue. She is getting frequent pain in the abdomen. We consulted with a doctor . They suggested surgery. Is surgery is the only cure for gallstones?... Are there any other treatments available?

If gall stones are asymptomatic surgery may not be done.
But if SYMPTOMATIC gall bladder Should be removed.
Even if stones are Removed then they are formed very soon again.
