Yes thyroid do increases weight if the TSH levels are not in control. You need to show to your Dr. and should start with the medicine ASAP. And don't worry TSH levels at 10 are that alarming, you will be fine. As far as is weight loss is concerned as soon as you start will your medicine and if you agree to be on proper diet you will be able to lose weight.
