Hello dear as in your age I wouldn't recommend any whey protein powders because you have the ability to assimilate nutrients .. so I would suggest you to go for some natural sources food rich in calories and other diet modification can surely help you in long run if you want to take whey ore you can use the left over water which your mother keeps after making paneer thats a very good source of whey protein ... Use that water in your shakes smoothies Dals etc. ..I would suggest one recipe which you can use .. and will help you to gain weight. .. You can contact me for a diet plan which I make exclusively for you based on your requirements .. 1 glass chilled milk 250 ml + add 1 scoop vanilla ice cream 5 almonds 5 pistachos 2 dates 1 -2 bananas Churn all the dry ingredients then add milk and ice-cream make a shake and relish ... Weight is a sum total of Bone, Water, Muscle and fat. You need to gain muscle to get healthy .Have a well balanced diet. Eat 6-8 meals a day. Have carbohydrate and protein rich food combinations like Banana or Mango milkshake, Mix nuts and dryfruit chikkis, Soya or paneer veg rolls etc. Include high biological value proteins which are very well absorbed like- Milk, curd,Paneer, Meat,Fish,Eggs etc. Also take proteins post workout like egg whites or whey 1/2 -1 scoop with coconut water or banana. Include essential fats like Almonds, walnuts, flaxseeds etc. Eat on waking up and do have a bed time meal like milk and light snack. Do not fast or overeat as this will not help.
